Make A Mark
Hello! Apologies for the long silence! I hope you are keeping well? Its been a fallow period with health, family and financial issues taking the fore, but yet again, art comes to the rescue!
Integrating threads from West Dean College's superb 2021 Online Foundation in Art and Design and various workshops I've attended/run, I'm launching Make a Mark workshops to share with others the delights of lines, tones, shapes and colours and what they evoke.
Working with small groups of up to 12, we will meet in calm spaces in museums, parks/gardens, hotels to explore the look and feel of different tools on paper in response to external and internal stimuli. Expanding the range of possibilities and sensitivities to marks made with pencil, charcoal, pastel, and other media, the aim is for participants to go away with greater confidence and enjoyment in their own mark making. Who knows, you could go on to use drawing to create a cartoon strip, design a theatre set or a building, storyboard a film, or "simply" enjoy yourself.

Your post was very informative. I’ve recently discovered anal lubricant, and it’s made a significant difference.
