Pintar Rapido Amsterdam 2015

My studio pal, Sue and I had fun trying to find somewhere dry to paint on the day of the competition. The previous days had been quite gorgeous! Although the staff of the American Bar had said that we could paint inside there if it was raining, on the actual the situation had changed! :-( There were a few minutes of sunshine in the afternoon so we immediately took pictures of some geese next to the canal, and as it poured again, raced back to our digs to paint in the remaining 3 hours before hand in. Needless to say the results weren't my best. See pic! Luckily next door to the exhibition was a charity shop, so I hope a few Euros were exchanged by a myopic undiscriminating buyer!
